Join us for Art Conversations: A new series at Art On 1st

Come meet other artists and talk about your work.
Whether you are an emerging or established artist, this is an opportunity to join other artists in a safe space where you can bring pieces you want to show and talk about.  This is NOT a critique, but an opportunity for all of us to get comfortable in a small group of fellow artists.

Talking about our work may also help us get clarity on our choices in making art. It may even lead us to explore new directions for our work. Subjects for discussion might include:

• Medium

• Color

• Composition

• Texture

• Any and all choices the artist has made in the creation of the piece

Bring your materials and work in progress even if you don’t have a piece to discuss. There will be tables and space for you to work during the session if you like, or just come and participate in the conversation.

Meetings will take place on the third Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM except December.  Dates for the first six meetings are as follows:

• October 16, 2025

• November 20, 2025

• January 15, 2026

• February 19, 2026

• March 19, 2026

Light refreshments will be offered.

Each gathering will run about two hours. 

This event is open to everyone. Registration is free, but as a non-profit gallery, donations are greatly appreciated.
