About Us

Hi. We’re Annie and Rick, founders and gallery directors of Art On 1st in downtown Roanoke, VA. As of a spring 2025, we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that strives to support established, emerging and aspiring artists through exhibitions, classes and occasional open studio time during which anyone who registers with us can come share creative activities in an unstructured, supportive and congenial atmosphere. Space is limited and schedules vary. The gallery space can also be rented for photo shoots, critiques, art lectures, and other related activities.
