ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Mindful Making with Textiles runs Friday, September 4th to Saturday, September 26th. The Gallery is open 11-3 Wednesday through Saturday.
Celebrate the meditative journey often found in the repetitive process of crafting. This show encourages us to explore our rich traditions of using textiles to create art. These range from wall-bound work, quilts, and linens to wearable art and 3D forms. This exhibition illuminates how these practices honor heritage, serve as pathways to personal growth and positive change, and expand the use of textile as a medium in contemporary art practice.
